JOB DESCRIPTIONCanoe is recruiting a talented, innovative and enthusiastic engineer interested in taking our quality assurance, automated testing and continuous integration to the next level. Canoe utilizes technology to intelligently track investments for complex portfolios of alternative funds, illiquid investments, and liquid securities. The product is built using PHP, Python, Laravel, Redis, MySQL, Javascript, Vue.js and other open source technologies. Canoe is well funded and has a range of customers including leading family offices.

  • 3 or more years of QA experience
  • Expert with designing and implementing automated and manual testing processes
  • Expert with build and test environment automation, continuous integration, and other DevOps methodologies
  • Experienced with reviewing product specs to write robust test cases and plans
  • Experienced with AWS, Linux, and shell scripting
  • Familiar with SQL and relational databases
  • Familiar with OOP, MVC, and commonly used design patterns
